I want to do pouring analysis of the component in Gravity Die Casting. Currently I have mould and core avaialble but during meshing, it becomes a single entity and the same when simulated becomes one metal. How can the same be done to find the casting shrinkage related defect at the riser end. I am looking for help in modifying the current riser on the mould to obtain a defect free component. The defect currently found in the mould is at the point of riser of both cavities. |
